MISSION:
Provide an inspiring setting for an encounter with Jesus that allows the Holy Spirit to transform lives through faith, fellowship, or service.

VISION:
A Christ-centered ministry developing people in their spiritual journey through outreach, discipling, training, and equipping believers for ministry and missions.

CORE VALUES:

  • Individuals who come to Camp Patmos are spiritually impacted by Jesus through the Bible, worship, devotions, and daily prayer.

  • A place where people are accepted, loved, and develop relationships with God and one another.

  • Recognition of a focus on the beauty and simplicity of nature and God’s creation, being good stewards of the land while building and maintaining facilities that meet changing needs that support the mission and vision of Camp Patmos.

  • Volunteers are an integral part of Camp Patmos.  Those involved in ministry do so because they have a passion for others to know Jesus.

  • All parts of the ministry are expectantly lifted in prayer.

" "For the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus" was on my sweatshirt as I boarded the bus for the first time as a camper in 1970.  I didn’t realize that three days later I would be sitting on the floor of cabin Lois with my counselor, asking Jesus to be Lord of my life.  And now, 44 years later, I have witnessed many campers meet Jesus for the first time, others give their lives to Christ and still others to allow Him to be Lord of all that was in their future.  Camp Patmos is a place to get away and meet God.   Being surrounded by Christian people who love you is amazing.  Not only is there fun and fellowship, but it is a time to reflect, dig into God’s Word, worship Him and be with Jesus!"
