Camp Patmos is located on the shores of Stony Lake just three miles north of Hackensack, MN and is over 200 acres.  The land was discovered by a group of godly men back in 1963.  It was then that the God-inspired dream and vision to develop a Christian camp to be used by men, women, and children of all ages as a place to discover what it means to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him was begun.

The mission of Camp Patmos is to create a place where groups can come and use it as part of their Christ-centered ministry, developing people in their spiritual journey through outreach, discipling, training, and equipping believers for ministry and missions.  Many find Jesus in a way that is unlike any other when they arrive in the middle of God’s glorious nature and are able to get away from the normal hustle and bustle of life and experience Jesus and His love.

Camp Patmos has been blessed with an enormous outpouring of love and support from many volunteers throughout the years. These volunteers have built Camp Patmos.  Camp Patmos includes 14 cabins, a retreat center, a multi-purpose building, male and female bathhouses, a chapel, a dining hall that accommodates 140 persons, a commercial size kitchen, a ball field, and a private beach with canteen and sand volleyball court.

Camp Patmos is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is responsible for overall management of the camp property as well as providing mission-based leadership and strategic governance. The Camp Manager lives on-site at Camp Patmos and is responsible for the day-to-day operations.

God’s never-ending and steadfast mercy and grace has carried Camp Patmos through times of challenge and times of celebration, which continues to encourage its volunteers and supporters to carry on the mission, to seek His will always, and to serve Him in this ministry.
